Welcome to Klik-Union

Enjoy your stay.

It never rains but it pours...

Forgive my lack of activity, i've been contending with a great deal and have truthfully lost all incentive with regards to my online responsibilities.

KU isn’t particularly flourishing at the moment, so i’m not too concerned. I figured I at least owed an explanation to those who do visit on occasion, however.

Klik-Union Updates

I think it's time to sum up a few things that have been going on...

There have been some cool additions to the downloads section, from Shabadage's Combo Block Bomber Rush to Wings, a mode7 3D flying engine.

Also, I think it's worth noting CsaR's Devlog, where he has published some game mockups. Why not suggest that he makes one of them into a game? ;)

I am working on Klik-Union upgrades and new features, I think the forum index needs a bit of optimisation since the latest posts box was implemented.

Oh, and it's my birthday. :)

Convention Reports

As most of you already know, this year's Click Convention has come to an end.

Both Chris Street and Joshtek have posted reports regarding the announcements and demonstrations featured, over at The Daily Click.

A demo showing off Hardware Acceleration in MMF2 can be found on the Clickteam Forums.

Interview with Nifflas

I managed to get an interview with a clicker called Nifflas, who is in the process of finishing his game sequel: Knytt Stories.

Knytt Stories is due to be released on 30 August.

We're Back!

After strenuous toil and hardship on Joe's part, Klik-Union V2 is finally here for your viewing pleasure. Much has changed as you can quite plainly see, not only are we free from the confines of phpBB, but we have a number of new features which should cater to the needs of developers and designers alike.

If you encounter any problems whilst browsing, please report them here.

Promise on the horizon?

Although I can't give you a sneaky peek just yet, this is just to say that there is in fact a custom KU on it's way, free from the confines of phpBB! Rejoice! :D

News, glorious news!

Jay of SatanSam has been working on a promising project by the name of Tormishire, which is being discussed on the forum here. An official website has also been launched on account of the project, which can be found here.

In other news, the official Microsoft Windows XP magazine is offering a 10% discount on many of Clickteam's new products, including both MMF2 and TGF2. Check it out if you have both the time and money. ;)

Project Rhapsody is alive!

Since there is little news as of late, I figured i'd mention that although it was supposedly abandoned, Blake from Natomic has again taken up working on his game, Project Rhapsody.

I've been fortunate enough as to get my hands on an engine test and from what i've seen, the game has been structured well (thanks to the numerous editors) and although it's still in the early stages, the gameplay and graphics are truly something.

*Update* Official Website.

Pokemon Online

I thought I'd mention an ongoing project, in which the latest version has recently been released.

Pokemon Online (POL) is exactly what the title describes, an online pokemon game. Even though the game is at a very basic stage at the moment, the most important factor here is that it is a Multimedia Fusion 2 application, making excellent use of the Moo extensions, and it should at least be checked out on that note.

The POL website can be found here.

New Project

Talented member CsaR has recently submitted an impressing looking project by the name of Pete: The Laid-Back Rabbit.

It is said to be a platformer featuring multiple themes, cutscenes and comic strips.
